RYAN FISHER will be back at number one for Plymouth Devils’ Premier League trip to Ipswich Witches on Thursday evening (7.30pm).

The American has resumed his position at the top of the averages from skipper Kyle Newman in the new figures, which come into operation from July 1.

The Devils will be looking to follow up Sunday’s impressive away win over Peterborough with another good away result.

However, Ipswich is not one of their favoured away tracks. Co-promoter Ashley Taylor said: “It has not been a happy hunting ground for us in the past. But we have to go up there and get on with it.”

The Devils will again be without reserve Roland Benko, who remains in Hungary on compassionate leave, and have called up Rafal Konopka from Peterborough as a guest replacement.
