argyleDEREK ADAMS has made his first signing as Plymouth Argyle manager by bringing Gary Sawyer back to Home Park.

Sawyer, who made 96 appearances for the club between 2006 and 2010, will re-join the Pilgrims at the end of this month when his current contract with Leyton Orient expires.

“I’ve been thinking about it quite a bit and I’ve really enjoyed my time in London but I wanted to come back and I’m lucky enough that it fell right for me.”
