PLYMOUTH Devils’ two-match northern tour ended on a disappointing note with a 56-36 defeat at Newcastle on Sunday evening.
Skipper Kyle Newman showed a welcome return to form with couple of wins as he top scored with 14 points. He was well supported by Todd Kurtz, who had another good meeting with three wins in his ten-point return.
Unfortunately, the remainder of the team managed only 12 points between them. The Devils went into the match with a six-man team after reserve Roland Benko had to withdraw because of a family bereavement.
