Plymouth hurdler David King named in England team for Loughborough event

IMG_7299PLYMOUTH hurdler David King will make his England senior debut this weekend when he competes at the Loughborough International Meet.

King has been named as England’s representative in the 110m hurdles where he will compete against athletes from Wales, Scotland, Great Britain Juniors, British Universities and Loughborough Students.

The City of Plymouth athlete, who has represented the GB at junior level, has enjoyed a great start to the season.

He won the BUCS Championships earlier this month and last weekend claim victory in the opening British Athletics League Premiership match.

King tweeted:  “Excited to represent England at the Loughborough International this weekend, my first senior international team.”
