NEARLY 140 runners finished the opening Armada Summer 5k Series run at Saltram House on Wednesday evening.

Erme Valley Harriers’ Peter Allen was first home in the run, clocking 18.08 minutes, which was 30 seconds ahead of second-placed James Cartlidge of Plymouth Harriers.
City of Plymouth youngster Ben Marriott was third in 18.44 minutes, with Plymstock veteran Graham Bale fourth in 18.50 minutes and Neil Squires fifth in 19.37 minutes.
Plymouth Harriers’ Suzie Spooner was the first woman home in a time of 22.31 minutes.
Her club colleague Sarah Robbins was second in 23.40 minutes, with Plymouth Musketeers’ Laura Lake third (24.22) and Storm Plymouth’s Rebecca McCallum (25.12) and Alana Pearson (25.49) fourth and fifth, respectively.
