GALLERY: Medics retain Plymouth Combination Sevens title

The Peninsula Medical School retained the Plymouth Combination Sevens title on Sunday in a smaller than usual tournament at King George V Playing Fields.

A number of teams dropped out late on, leaving just four sides battling it out for honours at Elburton.

The Medics 2 side were the dominant outfit and won all their group games and then beat Plympton Victoria in the final 31-10, with Plymouth Albion winger Tom Davies scoring their first two tries in the title-decider.

Plym Vic had enjoyed a good tournament and had finished second in the group, beating Marjon and Medics 1.

Marjon and Medics 1 battled it out in the plate final, with Marjon winning 24-0.
