PLYMOUTH’S Central Park played host to a Devon Orienteering Club event on Sunday.
It is the first time for a while the county club had held a competition at the Plymouth venue and it proved popular with people of all ages.
Central Park has had permanent orienteering marks for a number of years, but Devon Orienteering are working with Plymouth City Council to update them.
Sunday’s event was to help launch a proposed re-vamp of the course.
And it was a good chance for new people to try the sport that combines map reading with cross country running.
