PLYMOUTH Corinthian’s Robert Shaw continued his good time trial form by finishing second at the City Cycle Couriers 10 on Sunday morning.
Shaw was runner-up to London-based German Frederik Scheske (Ribble Weldtite Pro Cycling) on the S4/10 course that takes riders on the A38 from Buckfastleigh to Ashburton and back.
Scheske, who had just been edged out the week before at the Northover VT by Steve Lampier, clocked 19:26 for victory on Sunday.
Triathlete Shaw, who had come fourth at Northover and third at the Plymouth Corinthian Sporting 10 last weekend, finished in 20:21 on Sunday.
Royal Air Force’s Robert Willcocks was third in 20:31.
Mid-Devon’s Reuben Heal was first junior (22:10) and Catherine Hilton (24:46) was first women.
