COMPETITIVE amateur sport has returned again following a three month absence due to the third national lockdown.
And one of the first events to be held in the region was the delayed Plym Trail Winter Marathon Weekend.
The first races of the weekend took place on Saturday morning with a full marathon and a half marathon starting within an hour of each other.
The races began at Clearbrook village and runners headed down the Plym Trail cycle path to Coypool and back.
