Skelly will combine playing with working as the club’s new fitness coach as the Elburton-based club look to build on last season’s third place in Devon One.
To help them try and improve yet again, OPMs will be moving to training twice a week to improve fitness, up intensity levels and provide maximum time for the coaching to have an impact on the players.
The club have recently started socially distancing training at King George V Playing Fields under the guidance of head coach Orkney.
Billy Garratt and John Readey will continue in their roles as captains of the first and second teams, while Sean Cook and Tim Binding will stay as the two team managers.
The club have announced their first signing of the summer with the arrival of winger Dylan Cooper from city rivals Tamar Saracens. Cooper is the nephew of assistant coach Campbell.
