Weather frustration for Plymouth Argyle Ladies

PLYMOUTH Argyle Ladies’ National League Southern Premier Division match with Portsmouth was called off on Sunday due to the bad weather.

Argyle, who have not played for two weeks, now find themselves four points behind new leaders Watford after the Hornets beat bottom club Chichester City 3-2, but the Pilgrims do have two games in hand.

The Greens are due to face two more away matches before meeting Watford at home on December 8 at Home Park.

Argyle’s development team also lost top spot in the South West League Western Division at the weekend after not playing, with Alphington moving to the summit after drawing 1-1 at Bude Town.
