The hockey season got underway at the weekend and Plymouth Marjon’s men opened their West of England & South Wales Premiership campaign with a 4-1 home victory over Taunton Vale on Sunday.
Taunton started well but once Plymouth took the lead with a penalty flick after a good counterattack the hosts took control of the game.
In the same division, Plymouth University went down 7-0 to a much-fancied Team Bath Buccs A side.
