NEARLY 500 runners completed a 10k around Burrator Reservoir on Sunday morning.
The race saw competitors run 1.6 laps of the popular Dartmoor landmark.
Paignton-based Jack Thomas won the race in 35 minutes and 19 seconds, with Launceston’s Edward Horn, who had come second at the Bere Pen 10k the week before, taking runners-up spot again in 36.49 minutes.
Third athlete home in wet conditions was Tavistock Run Project’s Edward Smith, who clocked 37.02 minutes.
Fourth to finish was Cornwall AC’s veteran Emma Stepto, who was first women in a season’s best time of 37.11 minutes.
Tivertons’s Serane Stone, who had won the recent Plymouth Half Marathon, was second in 38.14 minutes, with Kirsteen Welch third in 39.54 minutes.
