A NUMBER of local cyclists took part in this week’s SWLaw Torbay Velopark Series.
Plymouth triathlete Travis Bramley claimed victory in the first race for category four competitors.
He finished well ahead of the rest of the field, with Ashley Welch taking second, David Elliott third and Plymouth Corinthian’s Ian Devonshire fourth.
The second race open to category two, three and four riders was won by Adam Toole, with Somerset’s Tim Southcombe second, Plymouth Corinthian’s Philip Bray third and his team-mate James Cartlidge fourth.
The series takes place every two weeks between April and July on the track at Paignton.
