Oli Allen and Helen Barron backed up their victories in Friday night’s opening Summer Soggies Series by winning their events in Hampshire.
Team-mate Rosie Andrews also claimed a victory at Crow Hill, as did Complete’s Leon Dawes.
Allen was a convincing winning of the youth boys’ event. He won by 49 seconds ahead of Charlottesville’s Sam Bishop. Fellow Pilgrim Flyers rider Alex Whitemore came seventh.
Complete’s Dawes won the juvenile boys’ competition by 48 seconds. Pilgrims’ Jonathan Rockey was eighth in that race, with Tavistock Wheelers Leo White and James Pearcy 11th and 15th.
There was a second-placed finish for Devon rider Ellen Garnsworthy in the juvenile girls’ race, with Louis Garnsworthy taking eighth in the under-12 boys’ event.
Rockin Bikes’ Richard Long had a frustrating race in the men’s expert category. He had problems with his front brake, tyres and chain during the competition but somehow managed to finish and took 11th place.
