Young Tavistock rugby player hoping for more Welsh Exiles honours

TAVISTOCK rugby player Zac Gorton was recently selected to represent the Celts Exiles under-17 side at Pontypridd.

Gorton earned Welsh Exiles under-16s honours last season and could yet represent them at under-17 level after his try-scoring performance for the Celts Exiles v Druids Exiles.

He got his chance to play at outside centre in the match at Pontypridd after attending a Welsh Exiles selection camp at Bridgwater.

He has now been selected as a reserve for Welsh Exiles’ upcoming matches against Cardiff Blues’ development squad XV, Dragons Development XV, the Scarlets West XV and North XV.

Gorton plays for Tavistock colts’ side and is also part of the Plymouth Albion Academy.
