THE final Armada Winter 3k Series run of the 2017/18 season takes place on Wednesday night at Central Park.
Runs have been held on the traffic-free course since October.
However, next month it is set to be replaced by the Armada Summer 5k Series which takes place at Saltram House.
Wednesday’s run will start at 7pm, but athletes need to register at the Life Centre by 6.45pm. Cost is £2.50 and it is open to anyone, providing they are 11 years-old or older.
Meanwhile, two popular local races take place on Sunday.
At Marsh Mills, the annual Mad March Hare 10k will begin at 9am. That event starts and finishes at the Plymouth Devils’ speedway track and takes runners into the Saltram estate, running alongside the River Plym.
On the same day, but starting at 10am, is the Tavy13 half marathon. That event starts and finishes at the running track at Tavistock College and takes competitors out on to Dartmoor.
Entries for both races are open until Friday. Online entries for the Tavy13 can be done HERE, while the link for the Mad March Hare race is HERE.
