PLYMSTOCK School pupils Max and Cordelia Gregory both returned home with gold medals from the Judo Scotland Cadet Open held at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow.
Max dominated all his fights to triumph in the under-90kg category and add the Scottish title to the British Championship gold medal he won in December.
Cordelia, in only her third cadet competition, decisively won two out of three fights in the girls’ over-70kg to also claim gold ahead of Crawcrook’s Leah Pattison.
The siblings, who are members of South Brent Judo Club and are coached by their father, Gary, have made an impressive start to 2018 and both are ranked number one nationally in their respective categories.
The Judo Scotland Cadet Open was one of only five UK cadet ranking events of the year.
Max has been selected to represent England at the European Cadet Cup and training camp in Zagreb, Croatia between March 10 and March 13.
