OLD Techs will host city rivals OPMs in their first competitive match of the 2017/18 season.
Techs beat OPMs to promotion to Devon One and also overcome them in the semi-finals of the Lockie Cup last season.
But OPMs will get an early chance of revenge, despite being in a different division, after the two clubs were drawn in the same pool for the David Butt Memorial Trophy.
They will meet each other in the opening match of the competition at Weston Mill on September 3.
They will then clash at King George V Playing Fields on September 23.
Joining them in Pool C will be Dartmouth, who won Devon Two last season, and Salcombe.
Old Techs reached the final of last season’s David Butt Trophy, narrowly losing to New Cross at Barnstaple.
Group D of the 2017 competition, will see Devon One side Tamar Saracens drawn in the same pool as Devon Two clubs DHSOB, Plympton Victoria and St Columba/Torpoint.
The first fixtures will see DHSOB host Tamar Saracens, while Plympton Victoria will host St Columba/Torpoint at Marsh Mills.
