Pentathlete Bryson ready to take on country’s best at second national ranking event of the year

kerenza BrysonPLYMOUTH’S Kerenza Bryson will be among the country’s top modern pentathletes taking part in the second national ranking event of the year at Bath this weekend.

It will be the teenager’s first outing since finishing as top Brit at the recent Hungarian Indoor Competition.

The Plymouth Studio School student will be up against the likes of Olympians Samantha Murray and Kate French and 2015 world junior champion Francesca Summers.

The men’s and women’s fields contain over 20 athletes who competed internationally for Great Britain in 2016 with others harbouring the same ambitions for 2017.

There will also be a youth ranking event in Bath on Saturday. Not only will that contain Britain’s potential stars of the future, but also a small contingent of German athletes.
