Bryson in GB senior team for this weekend’s Hungarian indoor event

kerenza BrysonPLYMOUTH modern pentathlete Kerenza Bryson will be in senior international action this weekend when she competes for Great Britain at the Hungarian Indoor Competition in Budapest.

The 18-year-old, a student at Plymouth Studio School, is joined in the GB women’s team by fellow up-and-coming stars Georgia Hannam, Charlie Follet and Georgia Pipes

The event in the Hungarian capital starts a busy 2017 season for Pentathlon GB athletes with the first World Cup of the year in Los Angeles now less than a month away and a Youth Olympic Games continental qualifier and the new Under-23 European Championships both added to a traditionally packed calendar.

Bryson’s competition in Hungary will start on Saturday with the riding and fencing events. The following day, the swimming and combined laser shoot and run will be held.
