THE Armada Athletics Network are holding their third Winter 3k Series run of the season on Wednesday night at the Central Park.
This month’s run will have a Christmas feel about will it, with all finishers receiving a mince pie. Runners are also encouraged to wear something festive.
The event starts at 7pm outside Home Park, with registration open from 6.15pm at the Life Centre.
The timed run, which takes athletes down into Central Park and back, costs £2.50.

Meanwhile, City of Plymouth athlete Paula Simson was among the prize winners at the Cockington Christmas Caper race at the weekend.
Simson was second women home, and first female veteran, in the tough off-road event. She was 14th overall in a time of 1:10.36.
Torbay’s Naomi Flanagan was first female in 1:08.42. Emma Lake was fourth women, and second over-40, in 1:12.45.
The men’s race was won by Exmouth’s Simon Minting in 57.14 minutes. He just managed to hold off the challenge of Torbay’s Aaron Tocknell (57.26) and Lee Turner (57.34).
