PLYMOUTH Leander’s Ben Proud added another FINA World Cup medal to his collection on Wednesday evening.
The University of St Mark and St John’s student took bronze in the 50m freestyle final at the Dubai leg of the series.
Proud clocked 21.25 seconds for the short course race to finish behind Russian Vladimir Morozov and South African’s Chad Le Clos.
The day before, Proud had won silver in the 50m butterfly final behind Le Clos.
The Plymouth Olympia had also won two medals in the same events at last weekend’s World Cup leg in Beijing.
