PLYMOUTH Diving showed they have a new crop of young stars coming through their ranks with four medals at the ASA Nationals Skills Finals in Southend.
The event is for novice divers who have been competing for less than two years and who have not competed at ASA Age Group or elite level.
Lucy Gutierrez-Freeman claimed a gold medal in the Group D2 girls’ event. She scored 314.50 points to win by more than 14.
Plymouth secured two podium places in the Group B+ boys’ event, with Corben Gibbs taking silver and Adam Nelson bronze.
There was also silver medal for Alfie Westerman in the Group C1 boys’ section.
Scarlett Colbourne, Polly Evans, Harlie Stringer, Oliver Heath, Thomas Bennett, Katie Martin, Maia Pearson, Jack Kinsman-Moore, Joshua Williams, Alex Snell, Jamie Daniels, Ben Kearton, Millie Ayres, Asia Brown, Gemma Steer, Thalia Bellan, Kat Saxby, Angel Yussof, Abby Fishleigh, Jessica Burke, Georgia McCoy, Amy Davis, Calvin Krimmelbein, Olivia Hall, Chloe Cox, Maria Marasecu, Poppy Hall and Alex Lamerton also represented Plymouth at the event in Southend.
Next weekend will see more young Plymouth divers in action at the ASA National Age Group Championships in Sheffield.
