PLYMOUTH Diving coach Fito Gutierrez claimed his second gold medal of the European Masters Championships in London on Friday with victory in the men’s 45-49 one-metre event.
Mexican-born Gutierrez, competing for Great Britain, had won the platform event on Wednesday and had took silver in the three-metre final on Thursday.
He was dominant in Friday’s one-metre event, winning by 45 points.
Gutierrez scored 329.95 points, with Czech Republic’s Vjaceslav Jermasov second on 284.85 and Sweden’s Olle Strombeck, who won the three-metre title and came second in the platform, completing his medal set with bronze on 279.35 points.
