PLYMOUTH Diving’s Victoria Vincent claimed a second gold medal for Great Britain at the Seven Nations Youth Meet in Edinburgh.

Having already won girls’ B three-metre event on the Saturday, Vincent then add the one-metre title on the Sunday.

Vincent, better known as a platform diver, scored 327.35 points to triumph in the one-metre competition.

Her Great Britain team-mate Emily Bearpack was second with 320.40 points. Italy’s Chiara Pellaconi was third with 318.25.

Vincent, who does not turn 15 until next month, missed a whole season after needing eye surgery after competing for England in the 10m event at the Commonwealth Games as a 13-year-old.

The next big event on the diving calendar takes place in Plymouth at the end of this month when the Life Centre hosts the British Elite Junior Diving Championships. That event takes place between March 30 and April 2.
