Plymouth’s Gill named in England’s women’s squad for Six Nations opener

England rugbyPLYMOUTH-born rugby star Courtney Gill could make her full England debut against Scotland in the Six Nations on Friday.

The former Plymouth Albion lock, who now plays for top side Worcester, has been named on the bench for the international match at Cumbernauld. The fixture will be broadcast live on England Rugby TV.

Gill has previously captained England Under-20s and in December played for the England National Academy team against Canada.

Former University of St Mark and St John student Rochelle Clark is set to win her 106th cap against Scotland.
