PLYMOUTH Argyle manager Derek Adams is in the running for December’s League Two manager of the month award.

The Pilgrims ended 2015 in style, winning their final three matches of the year to return to the top of the division. Their only defeat last month was against Cambridge United on December 12.

Adams was October’s manager of the month and was also nominated for the award in August.

Also in the running for December’s award are Wycombe Wanders’ Gareth Ainsworth, Bristol Rovers’ Darrell Clarke and Cambridge United’s Shaun Derry.
