ORGANISERS of the January Jaunt 10k race will be hoping for another bumper turnout.

The popular annual event is put on by the Plymouth Road Table, who donate any surplus funds to local charities.

Last year’s race saw 329 finishes, with Torbay veteran Peter Monaghan winning with a sub-35 minute time ahead of Tamar Trotters’ George Prewett, Neal Russell and Pete Waumsley, who filled the next three spots.

The 2016 race will be run on January 10 (9am), with the start and finish again at the Plymouth Devils speedway track at Coypool, Marsh Mills.
