PLYMOUTH Argyle’s Derek Adams has been named League Two manager of the month for October.
The Pilgrims claimed 15 points from six games which has helped move them five points clear at the top of the table.
Adams said: “It’s fantastic for the football club and it’s a very nice award to get at this stage of the season. We have performed well in October and are happy with the progress we making.
“I have a very good backroom staff in Craig Brewster and Paul Wotton, who I enjoy working with, as well as the rest of the staff at the football club and the players. We have a great team spirit.”
The Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel comprises of former Ipswich Town boss George Burley, Sky Sports’ Football League expert Don Goodman; Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson; League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Football Trading Manager Paul Lowery.
