PLYMOUTH Harriers’ Jane Allison claimed a top three finish in September’s 5Kool Run at Tavistock on Saturday.

Allison, who was first women, clocked 19 minutes and 37 minutes for the 5k time run, which was only 16 seconds of her own course record.

Tavistock’s over-55 veteran Richard Drage was first home in 18.25 minutes. That was a new age group record – one of seven to go on Saturday.

Erme Valley Harriers’ Joe Perry also set a new under-15 age group best time as he finished second overall in 18.37.
