PLYMOUTH College sixth former Harry Preston won a bronze medal for Great Britain at the European Triathlon Championships in Geneva.
Taking part in the under-20 age group standard competition, the talented 18-year-old finished in a time of two hours, six minutes and 55 seconds. The event involved a 1,500m swim in Lake Geneva, followed by a 40km cycle and 10km run.
Preston has recently secured his position in the 2016 event in Lisbon after claiming the silver medal in the under-20 category of the Standard Distance English Championships (Deva Triathlon) in Chester.
