Plymouth Devils eye KO Cup semi-final spot

Devils arenaPLYMOUTH Devils expect to be back at full strength for their Knock-Out Cup quarter-final clashes against Somerset this weekend.

The Devils visit the Rebels at the Oaktree Arena on Friday evening (7.30pm) with the deciding leg at the St Boniface Arena the following evening (7.15pm).

Plymouth co-promoter Ashley Taylor said: “There are enough riders in our team who can go well at Somerset and we will be looking to keep the scores tight in the first leg in preparation for our home leg 24 hours later.”

The Devils hope to have reserve Roland Benko back in action after his break for compassionate leave.

Somerset are without number one Brady Kurtz, who is away on World under-21 final duty, and have called up Nick Morris as a guest replacement.

Somerset: Nick Morris, Leigh Lanham, Charles Wright, Richie Worrall, Josh Grajczonek. Reserves: Paul Starke, Ollie Greenwood.

Plymouth: Ryan Fisher, Morten Risager, Jack Holder, Todd Kurtz, Kyle Newman. Reserves: Roland Benko, Sam Simota.
