DEREK ADAMS has made his fifth signing as Plymouth Argyle manager by bringing in midfielder Josh Simpson from Crawley Town.

The 28-year-old has signed a one-year deal at Home Park after rejecting the chance to stay with Crawley, where he was captain for a spell.

Simpson is certainly experienced. He played more than 150 times for Crawley and before that had spells at Southend, Peterborough and Cambridge United.
