PLYMOUTH Argyle manager Derek Adams has once again returned to his former club Ross County to strengthen his Pilgrims’ squad.
Adams has signed 26-year-old attacking midfielder Graham Carey on a one-year deal from the Scottish outfit.
Carey’s switch to League Two side Plymouth comes just days after Jake Jervis agreed to make the same long move.
Left-sided player Carey was born in Ireland and represented his country at under-21 level before moving to Scottish Premier League side St Mirren.
He won the Scottish League Cup in the 2012-13 season and Clydesdale Bank Goal of the Season award for a 35-yard wonder-goal against Hearts.
Adams took him to Ross County in 2013. He made 36 appearances in his first year there and 22 more last season.
Three of Adams’ four signings as Argyle boss have been from Scotland, with Gregg Wylde joining from St Mirren.
