PLYMOUTH Argyle will start the 2015/16 season with an away match at AFC Wimbledon on August 8.

It will be the first time the Pilgrims have visited the London club on a Saturday.

The Greens first home match will be against Dockyard rivals Portsmouth the following weekend.

Argyle will then host Carlisle in a mid-week fixture before travelling to Northampton Town.

Their Devon derbies with Exeter are pencilled in for November 21 at Home Park and April 2 at St James’ Park.

Former Argyle boss Paul Sturrock will make his return to Plymouth with Yeovil Town on Boxing Day.
