PLYMOUTH Devils face a busy programme of cup action over the Bank Holiday weekend.

They complete their League Cup fixtures with a home match against Ipswich at the St Boniface Arena on Friday evening (7.15pm).

Then, on Monday afternoon, they visit Peterborough in the first round of the Knock-Out Cup.

Ipswich need two points from their visit to Plymouth to overtake Rye House at the top of the Southern Group and book their place in the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, the Devils will be out for revenge after being beaten by Ipswich in the Knock-Out Cup semi-finals last season.

Devils co-promoter Ashley Taylor said: “This is the perfect opportunity for us to gain revenge by blocking Ipswich’s path to the last four of the League Cup.”

Plymouth have Redcar’s Polish rider Rafal Konopka guesting for injured reserve Sam Chapman.

Ipswich have a top number one rider in Danny King, who will be supported by Australian Rohan Tungate, Californian Gino Manzares and Nico Covatti from Argentina.

They operate rider replacement for the injured Cameron Heeps and have Ritchie Hawkins and Stefan Nielsen at reserve.

Plymouth: Kyle Newman, Sam Simota, Morten Risager, Jack Holder, Ryan Fisher. Reserves: Ashley Morris, Rafal Konopka.

Ipswich: Danny King, Gino Manzares, Nico Covetti, rider replacement for Cameron Heeps, Rohan Tungate. Reserves: Stefan Nielsen, Ritchie Hawkins.
