PLYMOUTH diver Robyn Birch won a bronze medal at the FINA Canada Cup Grand Prix in Gatineau.
The University of St Mark and St John’s student came third in the women’s synchro platform final with Great Britain team-mate Georgia Ward.
Chinese pair Yaying Ding and Siyu Ji won the event with 331.92 points, ahead of Olympic, World and Commonwealth Games medallists Roseline Filion and Meaghan Benfeito, from Canada, on 320.55.
Birch and Ward scored 283.26 to narrowly edge out fellow Canadians Eloise Belanger and Carol-Anne Ware by less than a point.
Germany’s Christina Wassen and Tina Punzel finished and Singapore’s Freida Lin and Myra Lee sixth.
