PLYMOUTH Raiders lost further ground in their bid to reach the BBL Championship play-offs when they went down 102-84 at Cheshire Phoenix.

It was Jay Marriott side’s sixth straight defeat and they remain in the bottom four of the table, with a 7-18 record.

The one positive for them from their trip to Northgate Arena was the form of recent signing Derek Elston, who scored 23 points off the bench.

However, the star of the show was Cheshire’s Taylor King, who scored 28 points and also added 15 rebounds, five assists and two steals.

Jordan Clarke was Raiders’ second top scorer with 20 points.
