GALLERY: Miles and Criddle claim victories at the popular Burrator 10k

BARRY Miles and Emily Criddle claimed victories at the Burrator 10k race on Saturday evening.

Masters athlete Miles stormed to victory in a time of 34 minutes and 32 seconds.

Second home was Lloyd Milbourn, who improved on his third place finish last year, with a time of 35.10 minutes.

City of Plymouth’s Steven Hill was third overall and first M50 in 36.18, with Cassia Tate fourth in 36.49 and Mark Young fifth in 37.43 minutes.

Criddle won the women’s race by more than 80 seconds. She clocked 41.09 minutes, with Bideford’s Davina Brown second in 41.32.

Taunton’s Jennifer Coxon came third in 42.00, with DSFRS’s Kirsty Prowse fourth in 43.01 and Hayley Barratt fifth 43.38.

An impressive 541 runners finished the race, which saw them complete one full lap and two-third of another around Burrator Reservoir.
