The teenager, who represents Plymouth Fencing Club and Plymouth College, claimed the title at the 2026 British Youth Championships in Sheffield this month.
Scholey, who has been selected to represent Great Britain at several cadet internationals in the past year, came through her pool with no problem and stormed her way into the semi-finals.
In the semis, she beat Kensington’s Adel Timurkan 15-8 to set up a final with Crawley’s Lucinda Fielding.
Fielding provided a tough challenge, but the Plymouth fencer was up to the task and triumphed 15-12.
Scholey is in the middle of her GCSEs, but her Plymouth coach Peter Barrett has helped her juggle that with her fencing and helped her achieve success.
