Track specialist Blake, who has run 1:51.88 for the 800m this year, enjoyed a good battle with his club colleague Matthew Bradley in wet and windy conditions on the multi-terrain course at the National Trust estate.
Those two were well ahead of the rest of the field on the evening.
Blake came home in 17.19 minutes, with Bradley taking second in 17.34 minutes.
Plymouth Harriers’ Suzie Spooner was first woman home in 22.42 minutes, with Plymouth Musketeers’ Emma Alee second in 25.07 and Plymouth Harriers’ Michelle Cartlidge third in 25.23. Plymouth Musketeers’ Maggie Lamerton and Florence McCarthy filled the remaining top five female spots..
The final event in the series saw 79 finishers.
