GALLERY: Saltash team up with French side Buzancais for a Barbarians-type match at Moorlands Lane

SALTASH Rugby Club completed their hosting of their French twinning side Buzancais with a Barbarians-type match at Moorlands Lane on Sunday.

After the two clubs had played each other on the Saturday, with Saltash winning 73-16, they teamed up to play a Plymouth Combination side.

OPMs’ Billy Garratt captained the Combination side, that did end up being filled with Saltash players, including Ryan Cruickshanks, who had played for Cornwall the day before in the Tamar Cup.

No-one was really keeping score, but the Combination side did win 66-42 and even had two tries disallowed. However, the scoreboard at the end said 61-61.
