Five city teams battled it out at the Pavilions on Saturday evening for the Thunder Puck Cup, which saw Plymouth Rock Stars come out victorious.
The tournament was split into a Major Cup and a Challenger Cup.
Rock Stars won the main event, after coming through a round-robin group stage and then beating Plymouth Phoenix 3-1 in the final. Plymouth Eclipse came third.
Hertin Cheng and Matthew Bunday both put in some terrific performances and were awarded the MVP on the night.
Cheng was also named in the dream team along with Perona-Wright and Tristan Bate.
Vadims Mahnovs, who is on the BRIHA management committee, said: “I thought it went really well, it was a huge success and a win-win for everybody involved.
“We want to engage with the community and we want to continue to build the game of hockey.
“There is no question in our minds we’d like to come back and do it again, we might even try to expand it in the future with two or three tournaments a year.”
