Jones moves up to fourth in UK rankings with new pole vault PB

CITY of Plymouth Athletic Club’s Noah Jones moved up to fourth in the UK under-13 pole vault rankings after setting a new personal best of 2.30m at the Duchy Miners Open at Carn Brea.

The height was a 10cm improved on his previous best mark, which he set last year at the same venue.

Jones enjoyed a successful day down in Cornwall, as he also claimed victories in the javelin with a personal best throw of 27.39m and the 75m hurdles, which he ran in 15.3 seconds.
