Devonport Services girls face difficult task in second leg of South West final

DEVONPORT Services under-15 girls face an uphill battle to win the South West area title after losing the first leg of the final on Sunday.

Services were beaten 41-15 at the Rectory by Winscombe.

It means they have it all to do now in the second leg on March 5.

Hannah Bragg, Phoebe Bishop and Alex Knapman scored tries for Services, who felt the scoreline flattered their visitors.

Wimscombe will also be Devonport Services’ opponents in the under-18 area final on March 5 after the north Somerset side beat Crediton on Sunday.
