The 18-year-old, making only his second appearance at a senior IPC Grand Prix, clocked 11.36 seconds for the 100 metres despite running into a strong head wind at the Olympic Stadium.
Only world and European champion Michał Derus of Poland beat him.
Afterwards the T46 world 200m under-23 champion, who was competing in a combined race with T47 and T45 athletes, said: “The crowd were amazing. They pulled me to the next level. They really do make a massive difference. They blew me away.”
