Modern pentathlete Bryson becomes European champion ahead of Olympic Games debut

MODERN pentathlete Kerenza Bryson will head into her debut Olympic Games on a massive high after becoming European champion.

Bryson took victory in the women’s individual event in Budapest.

She also helped Great Britain to make the podium in the team event, alongside Emma Whitaker and Alex Bousfield.

Bryson has enjoyed a couple of seasons to remember and will head into the forthcoming Olympic Games in Paris as one of the in-form athletes.

Joining her in Paris will be fellow Plymouth pentathlete Myles Pillage.

The Olympic modern pentathlon events will take place between August 8 and August 11.
