GALLERY: Pictures from the Devon Open Meeting at Tavistock

THE region’s first track and field event of 2020 took place on Sunday with Tavistock AC hosting a Devon Open Meeting.

With most of the outdoor athletics season having fallen victim to the Covid-19 pandemic, many of the area’s promising athletes were keen to have an outing at the Tavistock competition that followed England Athletics’ social distancing guidelines.

There were a number of eye-catching performances, with City of Plymouth, Tavistock and Erme Valley Harriers among the clubs impressing.
