PLYMOUTH Harriers youngster Sam Yearling completed a hat-trick of wins in the Armada Winter 3k Series on Wednesday night.

Yearling had come home first in November and December’s runs at Central Park and he did the same in January’s event.

On a bitterly cold evening, he clocked 10.24 minutes to finish 37 seconds ahead of Taunton’s Running Forever RC youngster Chris Brown.

Storm Plymouth’s Jack Arundel was third, with Erme Valley Harriers’ Liam Hallows fourth and Plymouth Musketeers’ Lee Herbert fifth.

Tamar Trotters’ Imogen Rickard was first women home in 14.04 minutes, with Plymouth Musketeers’ Chloe Hoatson second and Tamar Trotters’ Ruby Davidson third.

The next Armada Winter 3k Series run will take place on Wednesday, February 13.
